Hawaiiana Hale is one of the most luxurious beachfront homes on Maui. With breathtaking panoramic views that sweep from the golden sands of world-class Ka'anapali Beach to the warm, calm waters and the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i. You will experience true paradise at this fabulous property. Magnificent sunset views, seaside heated pool and hot tub, lush tropical gardens, and spacious living area can be yours at this elegant vacation property!

As you enter this extraordinary home you are greeted with a spacious great room and stunning ocean views. The Hawaiian 'Plantation style' architecture is elegant and meticulously detailed. Graceful craftsmanship includes granite and marble floors, mosaic tile, hand-carved teak railings, elegant moldings, period lighting, and Plantation era art. The welcoming, open floor plan includes a gourmet kitchen, formal dining, and several seating areas for entertaining or reading while gazing at unobstructed ocean views. The wonderful poolside lanai provides for endless relaxation and fantastic alfresco dining.

This well-appointed home also has an exercise room offering a treadmill, weights with a weight bench, a ping pong table, and large screen TV. Hawaiiana Hale has five private and generously sized bedroom suites that comfortably accommodate 10 guests, four suites with their own luxurious en-suite bathroom accented with limestone and marble, a private entertainment system, and a Sonos music system.

The main level suite features a King size bed, and sliding glass doors leading to the pool deck. Across from the Master, there are 2 XL Twin beds that can be converted to a King when requested. The remaining three suites are located on the second level. The two upper-level Master suites are at opposite ends of the home offering additional privacy. Each has a King size bed, private lanai, and stunning ocean views. The last suite offers two Queen size beds, a soaking tub in the en-suite bathroom, and garden views. Each bedroom is furnished with independent climate-controlled A/C, luxurious linens, and built-in safes.

Ka'anapali offers ideal weather, perfect for long walks on the beach, or taking a dip in the playful ocean waters. Enjoy the beach walk in front of the home that makes jogging or strolling easy. Take pleasure in spectacular snorkeling in the underwater reef just offshore. You will never experience whale watching quite like this as the whale's breach in your backyard during the winter season. Spend your days lounging in the private heated swimming pool, or napping in the hammock. There's a hot tub located in a tropical setting, perfect for soaking your muscles after a day of catching waves. The Westside of Maui is known for its beautiful waters, glorious weather, and endless entertainment. Hawaiiana Hale provides some of the most luxurious accommodations in the heart of paradise!

*As of Jan. 2021 Bill SB 2571 went into effect, and Hawai'i is now the first State to ban non 'reef safe' sunscreen in an effort to protect our reefs and marine life. Please help us with this important legislation and purchase either 'reef safe' sunscreen before you travel, or wait until you're on Maui where you'll find a great selection readily available.
*It's also illegal to approach, touch, or harass sea turtles and monk seals in Hawai'i, both in and out of the ocean. They are protected by the 'Endangered Species Act.' Non-compliance may result in a steep fine and/or imprisonment.

Cancellation Policy


Any Customer who refuses to use services contracted for forfeits any and all collected money, except the Customer’s security deposit and cleaning fee (if applicable). The security deposit and pre-paid cleaning fee (if applicable) are included in the balance payment; therefore, the initial deposit will be forfeited if you refuse to fulfill your scheduled stay after confirmation of booking.

Collected money is non-refundable. Under no circumstances shall Customer be able to determine if a rental unit is unfit for habitation. If you as Customer forfeit your right to services contracted for, and property Manager is able to re-book the property at the same rate, you will be issued a pro-rata refund for those dates re-booked.

Please be further advised that Property Manager is not responsible for construction or neighbor noise, as these are risks that are inherent when renting a vacation rental. We are unable to control these factors, and this agreement shall remain in full force and effect regardless of these issues. There shall be no cancellation for construction noise or for neighbor issues of any kind. To protect against cancellations caused by certain unforeseen events, such as illness, we recommend that customers purchase travel insurance to assure refund of deposits paid. https://www.csatravelprotection.com/

Any changes made after booking shall be wholly at Property Manager’s discretion.

If Customer complains about the condition of the rental, the amount of Security Deposit being withheld and or service they received from the Property Manager and or Property Manager’s employees or contractors, the Property Manager and Customer will work to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.

Acceptance of any change to a booking after a confirmation has been issued is subject to approval and acceptance by the Property Manager of the rental.

Travelers entering the State from the U.S. and its Territories who have been fully vaccinated in the United States (including its Territories) may bypass quarantine without a pre-travel test. The vaccination record document must be uploaded to 'Safe Travels' and printed out prior to departure and the traveler must have a hard copy in hand when arriving in Hawaii. The State of Hawai‘i will also accept vaccine records that are digitally validated by Digital Health Pass Partners (AZOVA, CLEAR and CommonPass). Travelers who use one of the States partners to link their digitally validated vaccine records with Safe Travels may enjoy expedited processing at the airport (no secondary visual inspection of paper vaccine records.) *PLEASE NOTE: IT IS THE TRAVELERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR ANY CHANGES THAT MAY OCCUR IN HAWAI'I DURING THESE UNCERTAIN TIMES. For International travelers arriving in the State of Hawai‘i from Japan, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines and Tahiti, only tests from Trusted Testing Partners will be accepted for purposes of bypassing the State’s 10-day traveler quarantine including any tests verified through the State’s Digital Health Pass Partners – AZOVA, CLEAR, and CommonPass. Travelers originating from any other international destination and coming directly to Hawai‘i do not have the ability to test for purposes of bypassing the State’s 10-day traveler quarantine.

For ALL 'unvaccinated' travelers wishing to use the pre-travel test to bypass quarantine must have a negative result with a test taken from a 'Trusted Testing and Travel Partner' no more than 72 hours BEFORE beginning the final leg of their trip. The negative test result must be uploaded into 'Safe Travels' or printed out prior to departure and a hard copy in hand when arriving in Hawai‘i. Anyone without a negative test result or U.S. vaccination PRIOR to departure must quarantine for 10 days upon the arrival.

In the unlikely event that Maui mandates any revised terms prior to your arrival ie: shutdown or quarantine required for all travelers, you are eligible for a one-time cancelation, or a 100% credit towards a future stay, minus a 10% processing fee, providing new travel dates are within one year of your contracted dates within this Rental Agreement.

Masks are required in all 'indoor' public areas within the State of Hawai’i and recommended outdoors if you're near others that aren't members of your household. Our Medical resources are limited; therefore your compliance is appreciated!


Deposit Policy

A 50% deposit is due at time of booking. 50% is based on Rent, Taxes & Fees.
Balance payment is due 60days prior to arrival. 50% is based on Rent, Taxes & Fees and 100% of Security Deposit.

For bookings arriving within 60days, fully payment is due upon booking.

Bookings is not confirmed until Signed Contract and Payment is accepted in writing. Once a booking is accepted, you will receive an email stating your reservation is confirmed.

Rate varies due to seasonality and holidays.

My family rented this property for a week over Thanksgiving and we could not have asked for anything more. The house is incredibly beautiful, and right on Kaanapali beach. The house has every amenity you could think of, the property manager Jodie is responsive and welcoming, and the daily housekeeping was awesome. It was the perfect place for our kids who loved playing in the pool all day while the adults relaxed with tropical drinks! All in all, a fantastic trip, and we hope to be back someday!

Hawaiiana Hale is spectacular! As we entered the gates of the home we all knew we were in for an experience of a lifetime. From the well-appointed home to the amazing sunsets there was nothing more we could have asked for with the exception of another week! Also Jodie, Eric and Ian were so patient and helpful as we tried to make decisions on grocery stocking services and in-house chefs. Without their support and guidance, I'm not sure if we would have made it to Maui! We can't wait to start planning our next visit! Mahalo

What an incredible week we had at 40 Kai Ala!!! From the minute we passed thru the gates we were blown away! The grounds and the home were amazing! Jodie had everything perfectly set up for us including the welcoming beautifully lit Christmas tree and stockings! All the people we came in contact with who were working at the house were attentive and very friendly and helpful!! Jodie and her staff were more than accommodating with everything we asked!!! We absolutely hated to leave! It was an incredibly special time for us to spend with our whole family!

The house was beautiful and spacious. The backyard and pool were absolutely stunning. They provided a perfect backdrop for watching the gorgeous Maui sunsets. Jodie was fantastic and made our check-in a breeze. She also connected us with a very helpful concierge who set up activities from a luau to lunch at Mama’s Fish house. This was a very special week... as it was Thanksgiving and my Dad’s 80th birthday celebration. I couldn’t have asked for a more well-appointed, better situated, lovely home to make a week full of memories. Thank you Jodie and Eric for your help and coordination in making it a dream trip for our family.

The location of this home was truly perfect. The home was gorgeous. Easy access to the beach, grocery stores and water activities while allowing enough privacy for our family. Our group consisted of 6 adults (4 college age kids) and my husband and I. We settled into the house rather easily and with a kitchen that had everything you could possible need to make dinners at home, we opted to enjoy cooking at home and dinners on the patio. We absolutely adore Jodie, the manager. She was quick to respond to any questions and gave great tips on dining out options when we got lazy and didn't want to cook dinner at the home. The house cleaning staff was very courteous and extremely thorough with cleaning the large home every day. If I could give them 10 stars I would. We will be back and Jodie will be our "go to". This impressive estate truly is a piece of your own paradise! The amazing views, a long stretch of white sandy beach and all the amenities it has to offer, it is really is a rare find! My favorite is the pool and beach right in front of the house! Highly recommended!!!
